LONDON, Dec. 12. The Liverpool Cburier makes an urgent appeal to Lord Lansdowhe (leader of the Opposition in ths House of Lords, to reconsider his decision and renew, his pledge to submit tariff reform to a referendum. This was the only way to 6ave Yorkshire and Lancashire for the Unionists. The latter desire a speedy dissolution, but it was feared that the Government's escape meant an irrelevant "free food" cry. ■*
