(2), Stephenson* Lange, and Cooper (2). .After tea a concert was held in the main hall,: the Rev. H. T. Blair presidjing. An enjoyable programme was prbJj'vided, the performers being heartily '{-applauded. Songs were contributed by :|'Mrs Latham, Misses D. Jordon, ■ G*. Warren, and Faubert, Messrs V. Harre; JJ. East, Constable, and J. H. Jones; recitations by Messrs P. Bushnell and G. Darton, and pianoforte selections were played by Mrs Baty and Mr Andrew. Mrs Baty played the accom-

paniments in an efficient manner.' The performers, most *oi whom journeyed out, frorft Gisborne, were accord-, ed a hearty vote of thanks, and ... a similar compliment was paid to the ladies' committee. The proceedings, concluded by the company singing a verse of the. National lAnthem . Afterwards th§ pepformers and friends were entertained fit supper.
