MONEY FROM AUSTRALIA.
(Per Press Association.) .- WELLINGTON, this day. t The New Zealand Federation of Labor received to-day £600 from Australia to*wards the fund for the Waihi and Reefr ton Miners' Federation. They have also been informed that the Newcastle miners have voted £200 to the; same fun<L and are considering the matter of imposing a levy on miners. The, Wonthaggl (Victoria) vote made the first donation of £45, and then struck a levy, while the Broken Hill miners are paying a weekly levy of 6d per head. The General Laborers' Union of N.S.Wi has vested £20 to the fund. Messrs ,H{ckey and. Webb, the Federation-delegates to Australia, write that they are being well received m Labor circles m, N.S.W.
