An interesting sidelight on the "increased ..cost? of 'iirmg "ife tftrown by ' a circular issued. by the State .Coat Mines Department,' who have notified dealers that "it has been decided that owing to the increase of freight, labor, etc., to raise the price of State coal 2s per ton." This is: the second rise within two years.
