United'had things all their own way, and scored 1 almost at the rate of one point-- a minute. Tries were registered by Guthrie, Campbell,, wyllie, Cole (2), Pollock, Murray, Luttrell and : Thomson. Five, were converted, i-by Squirrell (2), , Tetherbridgt?, Pollock, and Murray, and Squirrell kicked' a penalty goal. Ruakingi drop-kicked a nice goal for V.M.P. i Mr Pudney controlled the game.
