STRIKE TROUBLES.
(Press Assn.— By Telegraph.— Copyright.) (Received July 15, 8.5 a.m.) LONDON, July 14. Renewed rioting has occurred at Tilbury. Trains were stoned.
Two large shipping firms received a deputation from the Strike Committee, and agreed that' if the strikers resumed <they would recognise th© Sailors' and Firemen's '. Unions .and increase wages, but a deadlock .ensued, owing to the men demanding recognition from the Porters' Federation.
(Received July 15, 8.5 a.m.) PARIS, Jiily 14. Seamen on -. strike, accompanied by their wives, made a .demonstration at Marseilles against the rise m the price of bread, and >stoned the police. Ten of the latter and twenty of the strikers were, injured, some seriously. Revolver shots were exchanged, and sixty ajrrests wero effected!"
