At the meeting of the HaAvke's Bay Land Board .to-day, the Crown. Ranger (Mr D. G. Robertson) furnished the following report" regarding ■ the progress beinff made by tenants of various Crown holdings: — Otoko^ .village, 4 holdings, area 2 acres, A T alue:' of improvements required' £B 10s, actually t made £7, 1 defaulter for nonresidence, 3<■ defaulters < foi* non-residence and improvements. • Waikohu S.D., 3 holdings, area 382£ acres, value of improvements .required £217, actually made £499, no defaulters. Ngatapa 2 holdings, . area 4974 acres, value of improvements required £1604 2s Bd, actually made £5320. Tuahu, 19 holdings, area 40,831 acres, A-alue of improvements requited £12,102 8s Bd, actually made £48,371 ss, 1 defaulter for insufficient improvements.
Hangaroa, 25 holdings, area 50,358_ acres, value of improvements required £17,118 19s Id, actually made £96,600 17s 6d, 4 defaulters for iton-residence. v Waiau, 2 holdings, area 288 acres, value of improvements - required £303 13s 6d, actually made £1015 ss.
