Company's tug Tof a-, whiti came m to the wharf on Saturday afternoon, and loaded all the pumps, 'including the big pulsometer from Auckland, and then went alongside the Star of Canada, where she remained all yesterday. # The work of discharging the grain is still proceeding. The fine weather that prevailed yesterday induced' many people to visit the vicinity of the steamer, and numerous small launches and the steamer Gosfordwere plying to and from the vessel, giving visitors an opportunity of viewing the stranded steamer at fairly close quarters. The weather forecast to-day indicates the approach of a south -easterly storm.
