DELAYED BY FOG.

» (Per: Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, last^ night. . A dense fog m Pegasus Bay delayed the ferry steamer Maori for about ah hour yesterday morning. The vesK.l left Wellington at 8 p.m.* yesterday with s\ strong southerly against her, but when *.'he pot well down the coast the wind died away to a calm, and at 3.30 a.m. to-day, when the Maori was passing Cheviot, she ran into; a very thick fryj. and had to proceed at reduced sjveu across Pegasvs Bay.
