Mr Mott signed on as purser, and the actress is bri the ship's papers as stewardess, because the vessel is not licensed to carry jpassengers. Mr and Mirs Mott, senr.^ and a private detective are m pursuit, hoping to intercept the couple at Gibraltar, which is the Indradeo's first port of call. The parerits sailed /m the ( liner Kronprinz Wilhelm yesterday, arid the detective sailed, this morning m the Mauretania. . Young Mr Mott. has a world-wide reputation for, unconventionality.. He is married to ._the daughter of a college professor, with whom he eloped during his undergraduate; days at Harvard. His, wife left hhn three years ago, because he developed a habit of shooting at impginary burglars m their home, and since then they have lived apart.
