POLO FOR WOMEN.
SOCIETY CENTAURS OF i AMERICA. NEW YORK, May 22. Polo is being taken up by women. A woman's polo club has been foriried at Meadowbrook, the American Rarielagh, and the members have equipped their own ground. It. is not proposed at present to challenge teams of men-players, but' When they consider themselves proficient vhe members- will approach the Polo Associa-tion-for permission to enter into competition'with the- established clubs. _,
