SALE OF WORK.

The interior of the BaptisVTabemacle was converted into a. (kind of fairyland to-day, the occasion being a sale of work under the auspices of the Women's Ixuild, m aid of the church funds. Tlie various stalls were artistically arranged and made to look very attractive. They contained an abundance of useful and ornamental goods. The bulk of the work m the fancy and plain goods stalls was the handiwork of the members of the Women's • Guild and their friends, and an exceedingly creditable display tfV 'made. 'The , ladies iri charge of the various departments were as follows — Fancy work stall, Mesdames F. S. Malcolm. Penning, and J. Grant; plain goods stall, Mesdames Hood, Hoare, Crafts, and Coad ; produce stall, Misses Hamilton and M. Malcolm ; sweets stall, ! Misses M. dimming, V. Hamilton, Ballantyne, and R. Malcolm; fish pond, Misses L. Hamilton and G. Hoare; refreshments, Mesdames Spencer Gumming, Bell, and Balkmtyno. ' In calling upon Mrs J. Townley to open the bafcaar. the Rev. T. Keith Ewen said the function was exclusively an enterprise m connection with the Women's Guild.
