There was a good muster of members at the Gisborne bowHng' grden, on Saturday! afternoon. The weather was all that could be desired, and although the green was n shade heavy, snine enjoyable play wns indulged m. Severnl useful practice games . were played, and m tlie oliainpion singles competition L. T. Brown secured a win against J. Coleman, scoring 20 points to the tetter's 16.
