WEATHER REPORT.

Weather conditions in some parts of New Zealand to-day were boisterous. There was a westerly gale blowing this morning at Napier; Wanganui reported a heavy gale in the night; Christchurch had a thunderstorm, yesterday at 2-.30 p.m.; Bluff reported a south-westerly gale and heavy rain in the night; there was considerable fresh in the river at Greymouth and *' moderate fresh at Westport. STATE OF THE SEA. A moderate sea was reported this morning at Russell, rough at Tiritiri, moderate at East Cape, smooth at Gisborne, moderate at Napier, smooth at Cape Falliser, moderate at Cape Campbell, smooth at Timaru, moderate at Bluff; Manukau Heads reported rough, New Plymouth, Farewell Spit and Westport considerable sea, Greymouih rough. WEATHER FORECAST. To-day's forecast states: "Variable westerly moderate to strong, hazy, and indications for fair weather; glass 'rise slowly; tides good; aea moderate."
