At . the Borough Council meeting, last night, the following letter was received; from the - Town Cleric,^ r Palmerston North : "Itrhas ' been reported here that your Council registers •' motor 'cai's^ without charging a fee,>and it has also been stated that" a Palmerston North resident recently obtained a registration number from your Council without, paying any fee, .1 can hardly credit the , statement, and therefore, ask you to confirm it or .otherwise.
