Ah example of prolific breeding ttpon the part of ewes this season . has .occurred at the Bluff, says the Bluff Proas. A three-year-old ewe. belonging ,to v Mi\ J. C. Imlay gave birth \ to two lambs last season, but evidently not. satisfied with 'the performance' m these days of declining birthrate, went two better this year, giving birth to no less than four; As all are doing well, Mr Imlay can boast the record .lambing percentage of' four hundred per cent. Good percentages are being reported m all parts ,pf Otago and Southland, but the performance of this ewe is still another example of Bluff's ability to break records.
