Third-class players aro exempted. A resolution was passed giving 1 power to make a levy whenever funds arc needed. It is expected .hat £160 will be raised this summer, and :hat no further call will be needed.

The Management Committee of the Poverty -Say Cricket Association met last evening. Present: Messrs A. R. Gatland (m the chair), Allen, Harvey, Crannery, Golding, Walker, A. 3. Seymour, D. G. Seymour, Redgrave, Manning, B. C. Jeffreys, and J. MpLisky (lion. .<ecretary)- Several new members were passad for the various clubs. The draw for the Saturday junior competition resulted as follows: — Ist. match, November 4: United v. Alhanibra, V.M.C.A. v. High School B, Wanderers v. rfigh School A. 2nd match, November 18: High School A v. V.M.C.A., United v. High School B Mhambra v. Wanderers. 3rd match, December 2: Alhambra v. High School A, Wanderers v. High School B, United /. V.M.C.A. 4th Match, December 16: Alhambra v. High' School. B, United v. High School A, V.M.C.A. ■i. Wanderers. The druw for the Suturday senior competition resulted as follows: — . Ist match, November 4: Wanderers v. United, Taruheru v. V.M.C.A. 2nd match, November 18: V.M.C.A: v. Wanderers, Taruheru v. United. 3rd match, December 2: Wanderers v. Taruieru, United v. V.M.C.A. It was decided to have two-day matches m the Saturday junior competition." Messrs Harvey and Redgrave were appointed to select teams on the ground next Thursday lor a practice match. A hearty vote of thanks to the chair ter■ninated the meeting. , Correspondence was received from the Alnanibra Club appointing Mr Redgrave as tlieii delegate.
