In the harbor this morning, the ferry steamer Admiral, while crossing the bay parallel M-ith the Tyser steamer Niwaru,tried to get m front of the large vessel, with tho result that she struck the Niwarui about amidships. Neither vessel M-as much , damaged. The Niwaru returned to the anchorage, but was able to resume her' voyage to Timaru at 12.50 p.ni; '■' .
