AUCKLAND, this day. Mrs E. A. White, aged between 55 and 60. Mas found dead m bed at her residence, Karangahape road. She had been m straitened circumstances., She purchased lysol yesterday afternoon, and evidently drank it during the night. WELLINGTON, this day. In the harbor this morning, the ferry steamer Admiral, while crossing the bay parallel M-ith the Tyser steamer Niwaru,tried to get m front of the large vessel, with tho result that she struck the Niwarui about amidships. Neither vessel M-as much , damaged. The Niwaru returned to the anchorage, but was able to resume her' voyage to Timaru at 12.50 p.ni; '■' .
