RESTRAINT OF TRADE.
WA SHIJJGTON , May 17. The Supreme Court has affirmed the judgment gained by the Government against, the Standard Oil Company. The Chief Justice held that the reorganisation of the company, with headquarters m New Jersey, was prima facie evidence that it would endeavor to still control a monopoly, and that further investigation showed conclusively the intent to restrain trade.
The Court extended the. time from one to six months m which the dissolution of tho company must take place.
