At the inquest on the Bnshards. Mr Williamson appeared for the Xew Zealand rejatiyes. i)r Palmer stated that Bashard's brain was the, largest l e ha<l ever seen or known to bY recorde.]. He was unable to say whether such wotiUl incline to a tendency to insanity. It money hncl been received from New Z;ji land and there was no cause for worry, that would account for a strong s.ss pieion of insanity. Mr Hnshard's brother, m evidence", said he did not Vnow deceased was short of money. A verdiot of death from prussic icitl. administered by Segar and Evelyn Hashard, was returned.
The Coroner was of opinion that Reg.l wns of unsound mind.
