CHRISTCHURCH, this day. •A correspondent writes as follows: — The many friends of Mr and Mrs W. B. Craig, who formerly lived m Chrißtchurch and Timara, will be delighted to hear of their success at the Cannes' (South of France)*' Golf Club spring meeting. Mrs Craig, who is a. daughter of the late rtev". Henry Glasson. formerly of Avonside, won the Grand Duke Michael' 'of' Russia's gold enamel tea service, worth £50, and Mr Craig the Grand Duke's gold cigarette case -for men, also worth £50. It is the first time on record that a husband ; arid wife have secured, at the same meeting, the celebrated prizes, i for Nvhich there are always many competitors Tof all nationalities. ...
