The amount collected m Customs dues at Auckland yesterday was £16.482, and the total revenue for the day whs £18,195, constituting, a record for the Dominion for any one day's collections. Tho largest portibii'.'of tho amount re: presents dues, paid on ■, goods discharged from the steamer Kaikoura. The previous Now Zealand record was held by Wellington with nearly £4006 less.
