GRUB IN POTATOES.
(Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Hub day. A Star reporter to-day w»b shown some Oamaru potatoes fairly riddled by the grab- now ravaging the North Otago district. Those potatoes came m five truck consignments' by rail to punedin, and are now lying at one of, the railway sheds, where they were originally packed, to be shipped m centals to Rio de Janeiro, but were condemned for shipment, and , ultimately found their way to Dunedin. The grub is very active, and is colored white, with a black head. Specimens, with cocoons, have lieen forwarded to Mr T. W. Kirk, Government biologist.
