PETER VARAWA'S HEW ACTION. (Press As&n.— By Telegraph.— Cppy right.) , (Received March 21, 1.5 p.m.) MELBOURNE, March 21, Peter Varawa- has commenced a new action against Howard, Smith and Coy., claiming £25,000 damages for false im> prisonment m connection ■ with the sale of the steamer Peregrine during the Russo-Japanese war. In a former action Varawa obtained a verdict for £5000, but the decision was upset on appeal.
