DUNEDIN, this day. • At the City Police Court Colin David 'McLean, was charged with a series of thefts from retail drapery shops. He was employed at DFeav.er's. John Bedford was charged with receiving silks stolen from other firms. Both, of the accused were remanded. OtKer arreat'% are expected. . It was stated that the police had seized a miscellaneous collection of soft goods, boots and shoes, Daulton ware, and other articles sufficient to fill five large boxes.
