' One i of the most violent blow-outs ever experienced on the Tararinki oilfields occurred to-day, when mud and oil were thrown fully .fifty.. feet above N^o. 5 derrick from a deptJx of 3680 ft., the derrick itself bring 60ft' high. This . is regarded as a distinctly encouraging * justification of the company's policy m continuing their bore to a. greater depth. In No. 2 bore oil still flows freely.
