ARSENAL EMPLOYES.

Mr Haldane, replying to a Trades' Union deputation, which urged that higher wages be paid to the men employed at Woolwich Arsenal, said that the army estimates were already going to be raised. If they accepted the deputation's views the work would leave Woolwich entirely. Compared with men m private employment, Government workmen seemed easy-going.
