LAND BOARD.
(Special to Herald.) "NAPIER, this day. The Land Board granted applications to transfer as under : T. E. L. Moore to R. C. Dreaper, section 6, block 11, IVihu; Ernest Boyd to Arthur Boyd, miscellaneous sections 1 and 2, Tapapa. R. Henson and E. Green were given permission to sub-lease section 6, block 6, Motu, to W. A. Limbrick. Schemes for the expenditure of accrued thirds and fourths were approved as under : Wai^ roa County Council, £318 13s lOd. S. H. Hughes, E. J. Hughes, and W. H. Bennett were granted leave under section 237 of the Land Act, 1908, to improve ran No. 23, Mohaka and Waitnra survey districts, 11,568 acres, by cutting of bush, scrub, etc., and burning and sowing in grass. T. King was granted permission to improve run No. 18, Waitara, by cutting manuka and scrub, ploughing, and sowing in grass. Mrs E. H. Cotterill was granted exemption from personal residence on section '4, Mock 15, Hikuiangi. The trustees of the late L. E. Cotterrill were granted exemption from personal residence oii section 1, block 14, Hikurangi. Richard Whelan was granted leave to occupy section 50, block 14, Hangaroa, 4 acres in extent, in consideration of keeping it clear of noxious weeds.
