ERROR IN THE CHART.

Mr Tudor has received from the Admiralty a communication dealing with the reported error in the shipping chart of the New Zealand coast, regarding the position of Three ' Kings / Islands. Admiral Poore reports that H.MLS. Cambrian investigated the matter, and found that the true position of the islands should be south 34 degrees 9 minutes, east 172 degrees 8 minutes 8 seconds, north by 58£ degrees, west 31.8 miles from Cape Reinga.
