DEATH OF LORD CAWDOR.
(Press Assn. — By Telegraph. — Copyright.) LONDON, February 8. The death of Lord Cawdor is announced. . Lord Catvder was 64 years of age. Between 1895 and 1905 he converted tne Great Western Railway, of which he .was Chairman, from a second-class confcern into a flourishing company. It was this display of business capacity .which led to his appointment, March, 1905, as First Lord of the Admiralty.
