APPALLING MORTALITY. 8000 DEATHS. (Press Assn.— By Telegraph.— Copyright.) (Received February 9, 10.35 a.m.) Eight thousand deaths have occurred from the pneumonia form of the plague. Sixteen Russian doctors and- assistants have died. Half of them had been previously inoculated. The authorities are experiencing great difficulties m disposing of the dead. The population of Fudsoiadstan, which was 60,000, is now 12,000. The rest have ohiefiy migrated..
