LONDON, June 9
Mr R. McKenna, First Lord of the Admiralty, m Committee of Supply, an nounced that the estimates would provide for a hospital ship, and he hoped a second would follow.
■Lord Charles Beresford denounced the circulation m warships' libraries of tho pamphlet "The Truth about the Navy," a* being calculated to inflame animosity against another Power.
Earl Winterton said that it was an open secret m the Navy that Lord Fisher was the. author of the pamphlet. Dr MacNamara, Financial Secretary to the. Admiralty, replied that he had not seen the 'pamphlet, and was unaware who the author was. He promised to inquire whether it was still m the ships' libraries.
