BARMAID MURDERED.
SHOTS FIRED IN BAR.

A barmaid, named Stark, t at the Cafe Italien, Bond street> AA'as- shot dead s this afternoon. A man, calling himself Walter ,Lovett, entered the bar; and fired shot after shot. The AVoman fell, bleeding : from several wounds. Lovett then turned the revolver on himself, and inflicted a minor AA'ound. Miss Stark died 'almost immediately,- exclaiming', "Look after my. gh*L" LoA'ett . told the proprietor on Saturday that Miss Stark was his wife. • .
Miss Stark had her ! left eye completely blown away, and received tAvo terrible wounds m the head and tAvo others m the body. The .-murderer stated that he 'was a, commercial traveller. Ho hud been drinking heavily. •:■...
