(Per Press Association.) NAPIER,; laAt night; : The Hawke's Bay Rowing Association's regatta was held at; West Shore yesterday, m fine weather, and before a- good 'attendance. The water, was very choppy for the first tliree races, but then -w£nt; down. No times were taken. The following were the results:— - Maiden Fours, 1 mile: Napier l..Un?bn : (Napier) 2, Wairoa 3. • The only starters.' Won by six lengths. Maiden Sculls, 1 mile : Gray (Wellington) 1, Brown (Napier) 2, Bonnfer (Petone) 3. Six starters. Won by two lengths. Yo.uths' Foutb, 1 mile : Napier 1, Aramoho 2, Wellington 3. Union (Napier) also started. " Won by one and a-half lengths^ Maiden Double Squlls, . 1 mile : Wellington 1, Petone 2, Napier 3. Union (N&pier) also started. Won by d, length and a-quarter. - Junior Scidls/ 1- mile : Cato (Napier Uiyon) 1, Bulbert (Wellington) 2, Brow.n *(NApier) 3. Shirley (Napier) also competed. Cato passed the post with Hulbert's> boat resting on his canvas. Qite ran into a yacht, and Hulbert piled his boat on top of Cato's. Junior Founs, 1^ mile* : Napier Xo. 1 1, Napier No. 22, Aramoho 3. Wairoa also started^ Won by two lengths. Maiden Pairs, 1 mile : Wellington 1, Union (Napier) 2, Napier 3. Won by hali a length. • Maiden Fours, 1 mile: Aramoho 1, Napier 2, Union (Napier) 3.
