! The Gray • combination gave their final exhibition in Gisborne last even- 1 ing at Messrs Ostoja and Segedin's Victoria billiard saloon, before a large audience. t Master George Gray conceded Mr E. Austin 150 in 500, and after a very excitilijg ' game, the local player proved victorious by» 94 . points, amidst rounds of applause from the audience. -The winner played l a splendid ■; . game; V and made 22. 21, 32, 33, 21 and 22; breaks. Master Gray had very hard luck with a number of shots, and appeared to be out of .< form, after . the brilliant exhibition of the previous evening, his best breaks being 51; 23, 24, 23, 53, and 22. . In the second game Mr. 'Harry Gray conceded Mr L. McGoriigal 100 in 25Q, and. beat him by 81. The local player ""was very nervous, and was thoroughly outclassed by his opponent. The following -were Mr 'Gray's best breaks. : 25, 24, 22, 34. and 30. At the conclusion of' the games Master George Gray gave a clever exhibition of masse shots, amongst which were three balls in line a. cannon, three balls- against cushion a- cannon ; a canjnon striking the red ball, coming back [on to the white ; a cannon round the hat, and a cannon into the hat; a cannon under the hat ; six colored balls iin front of centre pocket, and sending the white ball .into pocket Avithout touching any of the colored balls. Mr 'Harry .Gray also gave a display of fancy shots, which included ■ a cannon off .every cushion on the table, a cannon right .round the table; a cannon potting three balls with one shot into pockets and the "good-night" shot — two balls together, sending them into different pockets.
