ALLEGED MANSLAUGHTER.
(Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, last night, William Diamond, medical practitioner, who .-was concerned in the motor car accident at Addington 'oai the night of February 22nd, when Sydney Raymond Merritt received fatal injuries, was charged before Mr V. G. Day, S.M., ait the Police Court this afternoon with causing the death of Merritt by his negligent and improper driving and thereby committing the crime of manslaughter. 'The accused was committed for trial, bail in £250 being allowed.
