(By Telegraph.) Light winds and calms prevailed throughout the Dominion to-day, and' the weather was fine, although at most places overcast. STATE OF THE SEA. A moderate swell was running at Cape Foulwiiid and Westport. The sea was moderate at Kaipara, Castlepoint, and Cape Campbell, and smooth elseMhere. WEATHER FORECAST. Captain Edwin forecasted this morning : "Southerly moderate to strong winds ; tides moderate ; sea moderate ; glass little movement."
