ADELAIDE. April 13. The first game of the Dominion bowlers against South Australia was played after a light rain. Tlie local men led at Hindmarsh. -The green was heavy early, and at the 10th head were 13 up. Goidstone' s rink made a fine recovery, and the Dominion won amid** great excitement, on tlie last rink to finish, Waddell scoring two. Walker in the 2nd head got a seven against Hain, who never recovered < although Thompson and liis skip played many good shots. Spedler led beautifully for Walker, who himself played well. John Hill began quickly against Goidstone, and on the 15th head was 10 up. The Dominion captain saved magnificently, and finishing with two twos made a: tie. Allnutt was several times the savior of his side with drawing shots. Waddell and Walsh." the local singles cliampion, were never far apaii. In the Inst- head Neave drew a toucher, and Bishop got a good second, which Walsh failed to move. Bentley was always in front of Winnall. Tlie Dominion captain played an admirable game.
