DUNEDIN, this day. The wheat market is dull. Millers are holding, off in anticipation of a reduction in the price of flour on account of the Australian supplies. Holders, however, are- fivm, oajpd are ,now^ disppsed td accept prices les_ than they ate now getting. Of the 'market^has been .bare, and there was an improved demand yesterday. Up-to-dates sold at £4 5s per ton, and Derwente up,.to £4 10s. The reason for the; improvement: Wis the rain last week, iwhich. stopped digging operations. With fine weather the supply will reach, its normal "condition,: arid prices are sure to coinebiick.:

The Banks Peninsula correspondent of the Press writes: "Tliere is still a keen .demand for ..cocksfoot- grass seed and sales are being effected at a high price. One farmer recently sold two thousand sacks at/ ninepence per lb, and several sales of smaller quantities at the same figure are reported.
