TE RAU. v. WANDERERS.
These teams continued the match on the Victoria Domain on Saturday afternoon. In continuation of their second innings, Wanderers only added 17 runs to their total, obtained 611 the previous Saturday, when three wickets were down for 68. The bowling on the part of Pine arid Schbfield was exceptionally good, the former being very destructive. In their second attempt, Te Bau made a poor start, losing six wickets for 47. The situation was saved when Schofield joined Variance, the pair bringing &he score up to 101. Vallance played a fine innings, and was still batting when time was called, with 69 to his credit. Te Rau, "who required 105 to win, secured three over that number *for the loss of seven wickets, • thus winning the match.
