There was fine weather throughout the Dominion to-day, excepting at Urcymouth, where there was rain. Gisborno and Invercargill were the coldest places m the Dominion. ■STATE OF THE SEA. The sea was smooth m the north to-day down to East Cape, where it was moderate ; it was smooth at Gisborne, but there was a moderate swell at Napier and Gistlepoiht, working up to rough at Cape Campbell. Further south it Mas rough to moderate on both coasts. WEATHER FORECAST. Captain Edwin forecasted at 9 a.m. to-day : Westerly moderate to strong winds, tides moderate, sea . moderate, glass rise slowly.-
