The Chief Postmaster has received the appended tdegrani from the postmaster at Takaka. who is ill telephonic communication -with the lighthouse at Farewell Spit : •i."A motor yacht left Collingwood\ for jFaJewell Spit lighthouse at 5 a.ml. yesterday, with 18 passengers and crew- aboard, including Mr Bean, postmaster at Collingwbod, his son, and cadet Robin's, some ;. intending to ,'laiid at the Jighthouße and tile rest to go fishing, went aground at the lighthouse.
