TO-DAY'S PARLIAMENT.
(From Our Parliamentary Reporter.) .WELLINGTON, this day. The House resumed at 2.30 p.m. Mr Davey drew the attention or" the Premier to a telegraphic message concerning the state of Christchurch municipal abattoirs, and asked would be obtain a report for Parliament. Sir Joseph Ward replied -he had read the article, which apparently disclosed a dreadful state of affairs. The matter was so important to the consumer that he would have an Independent report obtained. The Hon. Mr Chrroll gave notice of his intention to introduce the Gisborne Harbor Bill. The Financial debate was continued by Mr W. Fraser, who dealt with the financial aspect of the Budget. He contended that an alteration should be made in the various tables, ana declared the public debt was £500,000 more than shown.
