(Per Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, this day. Very considerable interest is being manifested in the forthcoming by-election for the Taranaki seat. Tbe candidates nominated are : Edward Dockrijl, Governi ment nominee ; William G. Malone, Libe% • ral, with . independent leanings ; and • Henry Okey, Opposition. Mr Dockrill is Mayor of New Plymouth. Mr Malone is a well-known solicitor, and Mr Okey is ..a farmer, who contested the seat _at lust general election ; n the Opposition interest.
