SYDNEY, May 6. Hospital Saturday yielded over £5000— some hundreds better than last year. The jury returned a verdict of "Not guilty" on the first count of conspiracy between Crick t Willis, and Close. They have still to give decisions "on the counts charging Crick and Willis and Crick and Close with conspiracy. Tlie case Avas adjourned till 'to-day. Summing up m the Crick case, Mr Justice Simpson complained pf attacks made m Parliament on Judges and Magistrates. Either the Speaker or the Government sliould stop the practice. MELBOURNE, May 6. A youth named Gra,ce, protecting a woman from ;-6sault, struck and killed her assailant.
