A GEYSER REVIVES.
(Special to Herald.) ROTORUA, this day. The Waikite geyser, which, has been quiescent since the railway was officially opened here m 1894, has again renewed activity. Commencing at, 9 o'clock tliis morning, it has .been giving excellent displays, sending volumes of water to a height varying from 10 to 50ft. / A Pi;ess Association message states that the geyser commenced action at 9 a.m., and has continued since wi* shots ranging from 20 to 70ft. A large number of visitors and townspeople _ye gone to Whakarewarewa to witness the eruption^ Tliere is great excitement amongst the residents of Whakarewarewa. •
