Tuatea (Captain Hawkes) returned from Pakarae last evening.

The s.s. Ruru (Captain Nelson) arrived from Napier this morning with 14,000 ft of timber and general cargo. She returnto Napier at 5 p.m. The Union Co.'s s.s. Tarawera arrives from Auckland to-morrow afternoon, and proceeds to Southern -.ports;. List boat at 5 p.m. The departure of the s.s. Haupiri from Auckland for Coast bays and Gisborne has been postponed until Tuesda v. The Union Co.'s s.s. Squall is due from Auckland, via Napier, at midiyght on Monday. The Union Co.'s collier Kaiapoi left Newcastle on Thursday, and is due here about Wednesday -with a part cargo of coal. She proceeds thence to Lyttelton. The New Zealand Shipping Company's R.M.S. Tongariro arrived at Plymouth on tho 26th inst. The scow Alert returned to Kiripaka yesterday afternoon. The scow Waikonini proceeded North at 4 p.m. yesterday. The schooner Awanui sails for Auckland on Monda}*. The ketch Coronation sails for Tolaga Bay on Tuesday with timber, and then proceeds to Ngungoru to load coal.
