Gisborne passengers — Inward : Misses Shaw, Broad, Mesdames Wachsmann, Nicholis, Thomas, Fig-ken, Bastings, Harding, Broughton, Suaney, Messrs Wachsmann, Lee, Williams, Bull, Shaw, Burns, Hine, Busby, Te Kani, DeLautour, Fisken, Bastings, Edwards, Jarrett, McAnally, Falls, Ban 1 , Hollow, McCarty, Carpenter, Williams, Peacoke, Fabian, Thomas, Bishop of Waiapu, and 44 steerage. Outward : Misses Butler, Spence, E. and E. M. Evans, McCarthy, Dell, Hill, Mesdames McLeod, Spence, Evans, Messrs E. Mackerell, Takle, H. Roland, C. T. Cooper, J. T. Evans, Ensor, A. C. Bates, O'Grady, Johnstone, Walters, Mackallive, Langlan, Griffin, Buchan, Constables Dell and O'Hara, and eleven prisoners, Judge Chapman and secretary. The Union S.S. Co.'s s.s. Mokoia, from Sydney and Auckland, passed East Cape at 10 o'clock this morning, and arrived m the Bay about 3.30. The steamer [iroceeds to Southern ports this evening, ast boat at 7. The Canterbury Shipping Company's s.s. Ripple completed discharging at o'clock last evening, and left at j.. morning for Akitio Bay. The Union S.S. Co.'s s.s. Haiipiri left Greymouth at 6 o'clock last evening for Napier, and is not expected to* arrive here until Sunday morning. The Gisborne Sheepf armors' Co.s s.s. Kotare, from Auckland, arrived at Tolaga Bay this morning, but was unable to land cargo, and at 10 a.m. •came on to port, reaching here this afternoon. The steamer will be despatched to Napier tonight. The schooner Gisborne (Capt. Pankow) arrived from Tairua last evening, and berthed at the wharf this morning. The schooner made a long passage of 11 days on the run up, and left Tairua on Saturday last. For three days calm and light winds were experienced, but yesterday morning a northerly breeze was obtained, bringing the vessel to port at 9 o'clock last evening. Cargo : v timber for -Mackrell and Colley.
