At the annual conference of the Canterbury Temperance -Workers yesterday a resolution was passed protesting against the granting of charters to clubs at Masterton, Feilding, Hastings and Wellington. A motion was also passed urging the value of the reduction \*otc. DUNEDIN, this day. At the New Zealand Presbyterian Bible Union Conference to-day it was resolved to hold the next year's camp at Christchurch, ancl the Executive Council meeting at Wellington. Mr C. S. Moore, pf Wellington, was appointed president;' Mr W. E. Manders, Wellington, vicepresident.
