At a well-attended meeting of the supporters of the leasehold, held) this forenoon, Mr Laurcnson presiding, a plan of campaign m connection with the land debate was agreed on. Messrs Ell and Hanan were appointed whips. Though it was decided that five of those present should have a free liand m regard to both motion and amendment, the general opinion was that the party vote was solid on Mr Seddon's proposal.
